A multiple car-truck pileup closed off Highway 59 in Houston, Wednesday afternoon.
The pileup included an 18 wheeler truck and six other vehicles for a combined total of seven vehicles. No reports are available at this time regarding injuries, if any.
The pileup caused massive traffic delays for those headed northbound on Highway 59. The snarled traffic included not only the main lanes but also the high occupancy lane.
Houston already faces some of the worst traffic in America and it is exacerbated when accidents like this happen in rush-hour traffic. Our Houston highways are in desperate need of relief particularly in the Northwest and Southwest parts of Houston.
