Kbtx Bryan / College Station reported that a College Station police officer was killed in an early morning head on car accident. Police in death cases usually reconstruct the accident to determine if charges will be filed. I have no word on the results of any such reconstruction by the authorities.
My heart goes out to the officer's family and I am thankful for the efforts of those who protect us every day whether overseas or on our streets. Not enough credit is given to our officers on the street who like our military are called upon to protect us in times of danger. While this blog post is a pretty sorry excuse to say thank you to all our patrolmen and troupers for all you do each and every day-to protect us, it came to mind when hearing of this terrible loss.
